Beginning Monday, January 4, 2021, at about 5 a.m., Stone Avenue will close to the traveling public between Fifth Street and Sixth Street. The closure will be in place through early March 2021 while the contractor builds the underground drainage structure that crosses Stone Avenue. See the larger PDF map for greater detail.
On Monday, November 2, Church Avenue will be closed between Sixth Street and Franklin Street. Ninth Avenue between Sixth and Franklin Streets will also be closed. The closures will be in place while the contractor completes underground infrastructure upgrades/improvements, retaining walls, curb and sidewalk, flat work and paving. Ash Avenue at Fifth Street closed to vehicular traffic on 10/21/2020. On Friday, October 23, the intersection of Fifth Street and Echols Avenue will be closed for about six weeks. On Monday, November 2, Church Avenue will be closed between Sixth Street and Franklin Street. Ninth Avenue between Sixth and Franklin streets will also be closed.
