Maclovio Barraza Parkway Broadway to Stone Opens
The Broadway to Stone segment of the Maclovio Barraza Parkway opened for travel on February 17th.
This map shows the open areas as well as those areas still under construction.
Stone Avenue Reopens at Sixth Street
This map shows that northbound and southbound Stone Avenue has reopened at Sixth Street.
Sixth Street between Church Avenue and Stone Avenue remains closed.

Upcoming Roadway Openings
On Friday, May 20, 2022, Sixth Avenue will reopen to vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian travel from Seventh Street to Toole Avenue. However, the sidewalk on the eastside of the underpass will remain closed.
On Monday, May 23, 2022, Church Avenue will reopen to two-way travel between Sixth Street and Franklin Street. Turn movements from northbound Church Avenue to eastbound Sixth Street will not be permitted.
Upcoming Roadway Closures
On Monday, May 23, 2022, Sixth Street, from Stone Avenue to Church Avenue, will close to all vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle travel. This closure will be in place for at least 18-months.
On Monday, May 23, 2022, Stone Avenue from Sixth Street to Franklin Street/Toole Avenue will close to all vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle travel. This closure is scheduled to be in place for approximately three-months – through August 2022.
Residential streets through neighborhoods should not be used as a detour around closures.

Intersections Opening, Closing Map
On Friday, August 27, 2021, at approximately 1 p.m. the Stone Avenue and Franklin Street/Toole Avenue intersection will partially reopen to travel.
Southbound Stone Avenue at Sixth Street will reopen to one southbound travel lane through the Stone Avenue Underpass. Westbound and eastbound turn movements to Franklin Street and Toole Avenue will not be permitted.
Westbound travel on Toole Avenue to northbound Stone Avenue will also reopen. Through travel and left turns at Stone Avenue will not be permitted. (See map)
On Monday, August 30, 2021, the Sixth Avenue and Seventh Street intersection will close to travel beginning at approximately 6 a.m. This closure is anticipated to be in place through March 2022.

Stone Avenue Closure Map
On Monday, May 3rd, Stone Avenue will be closed from Sixth Street to just south of the Toole Avenue/Franklin Street intersection (access to businesses will be maintained). This closure allows the contractor to install the underground drainage structure across the roadway. The closure will be in place through mid-May.

6th at 7th Closure Map
The intersection of Sixth Avenue and Seventh Street will be closed from 6 a.m. Wednesday, February 3 through 5 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021.
