Downtown Links Constructors (DLC), under contract with the City of Tucson Transportation Department, continue pre-construction field activities which are scheduled to continue through the end of December 2019. The traveling public will see equipment, work crews and short-term traffic control during this investigative phase of work which includes; surface, subsurface, geotechnical, environmental and survey verifications. The traveling public should anticipate the following traffic closures:
- On Monday, December 16 and Tuesday, December 17, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, parking will not be permitted on north or southbound Seventh Avenue between Sixth and Seventh streets. Access to businesses in the area will be maintained.
- On Wednesday, December 18, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Arizona Avenue will be closed at the intersection of Seventh Street.
- On Wednesday, December 18, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. westbound Sixth Street will be reduced to one travel lane between Echols and Stone avenues. Access to businesses and turn movements will be maintained.
- On Thursday, December 19, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. northbound Sixth Avenue will be closed between Sixth and Seventh streets.
- All northbound Sixth Avenue traffic will be required to turn either right or left at Seventh Street.
- Southbound Sixth Avenue travel will NOT be impacted.

- On Thursday, December 19, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. the two-way bike lane along the eastside of Stone Avenue will be closed between Toole Avenue and Council Street. Parking will not be affected.
- On Friday, December 20, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. the sidewalk along the southside of Sixth Street will be closed between Church and Main avenues.
- During this work, equipment for the pothole operations will be located on Meyer Avenue, south of the neighborhood wall. Access to residents on Meyer Avenue will not be

- Left turns from northbound Church Avenue to westbound Sixth Street will NOT be permitted
