Downtown Links Constructors (DLC), under contract with the City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility are working on the Downtown Links project, which began in August 2020.

Motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians should anticipate intermittent lane restrictions throughout the limits of the project in addition to the following upcoming work:

By 3 p.m. on Friday, September 3, Fifth Street will reopen to all vehicles, bicyclists, and pedestrians from Main Avenue to just east of the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR).

The City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility and its contractor, DLC, thank you for your understanding and patience while they completed the realignment of the fiber optic infrastructure along the UPRR.
